This video demonstrates A-lines, an ultrasound artifact that is consistent with normal lung parenchyma. The bright white horizontal line at about 1 cm depth is the pleural reflection. Because reverberation of the ultrasound off the pleura, this line is then seen reflect twice at regular intervals.
