How to Use This Book

Welcome to our review of federal and state pharmacy law. The goal of this publication is to be a brief resource of pharmacy-related statutes, rules, and regulations that impact pharmacy practice from a legal viewpoint.

Its utility is as a “quick reference” and as a guide for preparation for pharmacy law licensing examinations.

In the first edition, we present summaries for the 20 most populated states, plus federal regulations.

In future editions, we will add the other states.
