    • Fluoroquinolones: Increase risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture

    • Antidepressants: Increase risk of suicidal ideation

    • Anticoagulants: Increase risk of bleeding

    • Anti-epilepsy drugs: Increase risk of suicidal ideation

    • Sodium phosphate: Increase risk of kidney damage if not diluted properly

    You can legally dispense a limited amount of either/both opium tincture and codeine suspension without a prescription in many states as long as you keep a log book. However, in the state of California no controlled substances can be dispensed without a valid prescription.

    C-II through C-IV: Report weekly

    C-II and C-III: Report monthly for 48-hour or less supply prescription

    C-IV: Do not report if 48-hour or less supply prescription
