  1. Reserve space according to your institution timing and process (ie, Standardized Patient Instructor [SPI] training and classroom activity).

  2. Submit budget according to your college/school timing and process.

  3. One week prior to activity, mail SPI preparation package (see SPI Preparation Package List).

  4. Twenty-four hours prior to activity, make Medical Chart with Case Introduction (Student Version) available to the students.

  5. Make the completed Patient Plan Perspective Form available to students to access for their homework.

  6. Make the SOAP Note “Key” available to students for compare and contrast assignment.

  7. Collect the following homework from the students:

    1. SOAP note corrections

    2. Patient Plan reflection
