Utilize a package insert to obtain relevant counseling points on use of a transdermal patch. Counsel the patient on their new transdermal patch medication. (Note: Any type of transdermal patch may be used for practice purposes. A web search for “transdermal patch package insert” yields a number of options.)
Utilize the Student Activity—Case provided to answer questions the intern pharmacist may have during the interview portion.
Practice counseling your patient using gender-inclusive language and neutral terms of address. Feedback will be given according to the TGNC Rubric.
