Proposed Timeline

  • 1:00–2:40 PM: Patient Counseling and Observation (10 minutes each in partners—20 minutes total)

    Consultation Discussion (20 minutes in Teams of 4)

    Work on answering Case Discussion Questions (1 hour—may be broken up by other tasks)

  • 2:40–3:00 or 3:20 PM: Simulated or Volunteer Patient Feedback and Discussion (20–40 minutes)

  • 3:00–3:20 or 3:50 PM: Instructor-facilitated discussion over the Case Discussion Questions utilizing the Instructor Key (30–50 minutes)
