AB  - S.  Scott  Sutton,  PharmD,  is  Professor  and  Chair  in  the  Department  of  Clinical  Pharmacy  and  Outcomes  Sciences  at  the  University  of  South  Carolina  College  of  Pharmacy.  He  received  his  Bachelor  of  Science  and  Doctor  of  Pharmacy  degrees  from  the  University  of  South  Carolina  and  completed  a  clinical  pharmacy  residency  in  medicine  and  infectious  diseases  at  the  Columbia  VA  Health  Care  System.  He  teaches  in  Pharmacotherapy,  Pharmacokinetics,  Clinical  Applications,  and  Clinical  Research.  Additionally,  Dr.  Sutton  is  a  clinical  researcher  and  his  research  areas  include  pharmacoepidemiology  and  drug  repurposing.  He  has  received  teacher  and  researcher  of  the  year  awards  from  the  University  of  South  Carolina  and  has  served  as  sports  medicine  pharmacist  for  the  Department  of  Athletics.
