AB Publication  of  the  10th  edition  of  Pharmacotherapy:  A  Pathophysiologic  Approach  represents  a  milestone,  in  that  almost  30  years  have  passed  since  publication  of  the  1st  edition.  Accordingly,  this  is  a  logical  time  to  pause  and  reflect  upon  the  mission  and  changes  in  Pharmacotherapy,  health  care  delivery  systems,  and  our  profession.  Hopefully,  this  reflection  is  not  simply  an  academic  exercise,  but  instead  an  opportunity  to  think  about  what  the  future  may  hold  and  how  we  might  be  able  to  lead  the  future  such  that  clinical,  humanistic,  and  economic  outcomes  of  our  patients  are  improved.
