This member must be a resident of Indiana and have no affiliation with the profession of the Board of Pharmacy except as a consumer.One (1) member must be a practicing hospital pharmacist.The pharmacist members of the Board of Pharmacy shall come from varied practice settings.Members are appointed by the governor.No one employed as a full-time staff member or professor at a school of pharmacy may serve as a member of the Board of Pharmacy.TermMembers of the Board of Pharmacy are appointed to four (4)-year terms. If a member is unable to complete his or her term, the member’s successor shall serve the expired portion of the prior member’s term.QualificationsExcept for the nonpharmacist member of the Board of Pharmacy, members shall:be a licensed pharmacist in Indiana;be a pharmacist in good standing;have recognized experience and ability; andeach new member must subscribe by oath or affirmation to faithfully uphold the duties of office within ten (10) days after the member’s appointment. If a member fails to do so, a new member shall be appointed in that member’s place.2Meetings3The Board of Pharmacy shall elect from its members a president and vice-president at its first meeting each year.The Board of Pharmacy must meet at least eight (8) times each year.Four (4) members of the Board of Pharmacy shall constitute a quorum.The Board of Pharmacy may continue meetings from day to day for not more than five (5) days until all business is complete.
